OUR

MANIFEST

Every day, a bakery loses 5 to 10% of its production. Due to a lack of outlets, these unsold products often end up in the trash, even if they are still perfectly edible. Why throw away products that are still good? Because it is very complicated to anticipate the flow of customers, which varies every day. And if we want to offer choice and attractive window displays, this often means throwing away a lot of products at the end of the day. Very few of these unsold products are collected by food banks in Paris because these losses, which are very irregular, require complex and costly logistics. And while anti-waste applications already save a lot of products, there are still a lot of unsold products that end up wasted. At DEMAIN, we have chosen to give these products one last chance, by financing their collection through the resale of these products the next day, at very low prices.
